Aromas of pear flesh, guava and white peach show on the nose of this bottling. There is fine tension to the palate, where baked pear and poached apple flavors meet with gardenia, caramel and light mint, proving rich yet complex.
Winemaker Notes
This Monterey County Chardonnay is light and bright, creamy and well-balanced. Flavors of tropical fruits like peach and pineapple are rounded off by traces of pear and vanilla. Au Jus by 1849 Wine Company is full of personality.
American contemporary artist, Saber, created the label artwork, titled “Drip.” It embodies the silky texture, long legs, and rich finish of this wine.
