Acceptance of Terms: By accessing or making a purchase from Hi-Proof, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our services.
Alcohol Sales:

Legal Drinking Age: By purchasing alcoholic beverages from hiproof.com, you confirm that you are of legal drinking age in California. We strictly adhere to state regulations and reserve the right to refuse sales to anyone who is not of legal drinking age.
License Verification: Hiproof.com holds the necessary licenses to sell alcoholic beverages in accordance with California state laws.
Ordering and Payment
Product Availability: All orders are subject to product availability. In the event that an item is out of stock, we will notify you and provide alternatives or process a refund.

Payment Methods: We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards and other methods specified at the time of purchase.
Billing Information: By providing your payment information, you warrant that it is accurate, current, and complete. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
An adult 21 years or older with valid government-issued ID must be present upon delivery to sign for the package. You may be asked to provide a valid government-issued ID to verify identification and to ensure compliance with legal age restrictions.
General Returns:
- In accordance with California law, wine and spirits sold are generally non-returnable. However, defective wine and spirits may be returned for credit or replacement within seven days of the delivered date.
- All returned wines must be accompanied by a valid receipt.
- If an order is returned to Hi-Proof due to incorrect addresses, multiple failed attempts, or has been refused by the recipient, you will be refunded for the order minus 20% restocking fee and shipping fee.
- Reshipment fees on all returned orders will have a return fee of $15, plus additional $5 reshipment fee per bottle.
Cancellation Policy:
- It is understandable that circumstances can arise which require changes / cancellation of an order. Customers will have up to 24 hours from the time that their order is placed to cancel the order free of charge. Any cancelation requests after the initial 24 hour period will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
In Store Pick Up order / Storage Fees:
In store pick up orders are usually held for 1 ~ 2 weeks. If an in store pick up order is not picked up within 60 days we will require a storage fee to be assessed per bottle per month.
Older Wines:
- Hi-Proof takes great care to ensure proper temperature-controlled storage and provenance for all wines. However, we cannot assume responsibility for wines older than five years from the latest vintage, which is an industry standard.
Heat and Ullage:
- Heat is detrimental to wine, and even mild temperatures inside a vehicle can compromise wine quality, causing cork issues and label damage.
- We cannot accept returns for wines displaying evidence of heat damage.
Changes to Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
